What is a stork announcement?
A stork is a fun and unique opportunity to announce the birth of a baby, a recent adoption, and more.
How does it work?
Reserve your stork directly through our online store or by calling 949-288-1556.
How large are the stork signs?
All stork signs are 6 feet tall.
May I keep the stork sign?
No. We apologize for the inconvenience, however, all stork signs must be returned to Storks of South County. The bundle and sibling stars are left behind as keepsakes at the end of the rental period.
What if I don’t have a yard?
No problem. Our personalized baby announcement bundles are also available for purchase. These are great for hospital doors, apartments or office doors. We deliver these ready to hang.
Can I move, mow around or attach anything to the stork signs??
Please do not move and/or remove the Storks of South County Sign as damage can occur. Please use extreme caution when mowing or weed eating near the sign as damage can occur if any contact is made with the sign.
Please note: Do not attach anything to the sign, including balloons. When a balloon pops the sun bakes the latex into the sign causing permanent damage.
What happens if the stork sign is damaged??
If you notice any damage on the sign please notify Storks of South County immediately. Our stork signs are durable, weather-resistant, and designed to last. However, the stork signs are not designed for climbing. We are not responsible or liable for any and all injuries involving the sign while on the renter’s designated property. The owner of the home in which the stork sign rental is posted will be responsible for payment of any damage to the sign while on the owner’s property. We thank you for your consideration and cooperation in this matter.
How do I pay for my stork yard sign?
We accept all major credit cards. You can call us with a credit card number to process payment. All rentals must be paid in advance before we deliver. Sorry, no personal checks.
Is there a delivery charge?
The standard delivery fee is included in the price of the lawn sign rental. If you are located outside of the standard delivery area, then we charge an additional 50 cents per mile.
Is there a cancellation fee?
No, if canceled 24 hours prior to delivery time. What Is Your Refund Policy? We do not offer refunds after a sign has been delivered and put in place.
Are there discounts for military personnel?
Yes, please contacts Storks of South County for military discounts.
What if there is more than one baby?
If you are announcing multiple births, do not fear. We are happy to offer a discount for multiple lawn sign rentals.
How long is the rental period?
The standard stork rental period for all signs lasts 7 days.
How far in advance should I order the stork sign?
We strive to deliver your yard sign within 24hrs of placing an order. Storks of South County receives orders 7-days a week, so contact us whenever you are ready. You can also reach us anytime by emailing storksofsouthcounty@gmail.com or calling 949-288-1556.
Can I reserve a stork sign before the baby is born?
Yes. Give us a call or email with an approximate birth date to reserve your stork announcement. Notify Storks of South County when the baby arrives and we will schedule a delivery time.
Can I give the stork sign as a gift?
Yes! Our signs make a great gift! When you order the sign, you will have the option of creating a small message that will be printed on the back of the custom bundle. Example: “Congratulations on the new baby! We love you! Grandma and Grandpa.”
How soon will I receive my stork sign?
The standard processing time for creating and delivering the signs is 1-2 business days. We do offer a rush delivery within 12 hours for an extra $50.
Will you deliver the lawn sign?
Yes. Storks of South County delivers signs directly to your home if you are within 30 miles of the 92675 zip code. For families outside of our delivery area, you may still use our service at an additional 50 cents per mile.
Does someone need to be home when the stork sign is delivered?
No, there does not need to be anyone at the delivery address for the lawn sign to be delivered and set up. If you have special instructions on where to place the yard sign, please let us know.
Where will you place the birth announcement sign in the yard?
We use our best judgment regarding sign placement to ensure optimal visibility and a pleasing backdrop for photographs. If there is a specific spot you would like the sign to be placed, please notify us when you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request. We can not guarantee the exact placement of the stork sign if you are not at home when we deliver the front yard sign and/or if you have not marked the location in the yard with a clearly visible marker.
